Professional Training: The AHA is a global leader in life-saving training programs, including CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Their guidelines for resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular care are considered the gold standard worldwide.

The Basic Life Support (BLS)

The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
Features:
  • Video based course ensures consistency
  • Instructor led, hands on class format reinforces skills proficiency
  • Student manual comes with new Pocket Reference Card, designed to provide quick emergency information to the rescuer at any time.
After successfully completing the BLS course, students should be able to:
  • describe the importance of high-quality CPR and its impact on survival
  • describe all of the steps of the Chain of Survival and apply the BLS concepts of the Chain of Survival
  • recognize the signs of someone needing CPR
  • perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants
  • describe the importance of early AED use and demonstrate using one
  • provide effective ventilations with a barrier device
  • describe the importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and perform as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Features:
  • Course uses learning stations for practice of essential skills simulated clinical scenarios that encourage Active participation
  • Hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency
  • Classroom-based works well for learners who prefer group interaction and instructor feedback while learning skills

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
The PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.
Features:
  • Classroom-based works well for learners who prefer group interaction and instructor feedback while learning skills
  • Co-branded with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  • Course uses learning stations for practice of essential skills simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active participation
  • Hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency

ECSI Program

The Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI) is an organization dedicated to providing flexible, high-quality training in emergency care, safety, and health-related skills. Partnering with a network of educational institutions, businesses, and organizations, ECSI offers courses that equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergencies.
Certifications and Recognition:
  • Participants receive ECSI certifications upon course completion, widely recognized for compliance with workplace and organizational requirements.
  • ECSI training meets or exceeds standards set by major organizations like OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Wilderness and Specialized Training:
  • Unique offerings like wilderness first aid courses cater to outdoor adventurers and professionals operating in remote areas where immediate medical help may not be available.
  • Specialized content focuses on scenarios like extreme weather injuries, bites, and improvised medical solutions.

First On The Scene

First on the Scene (FOTS), developed by NAEMT and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), provides instructors with a toolkit to teach the general public basic emergency response to life-threatening emergencies until EMS arrives on the scene. Through lesson presentations and hands-on skill stations, participants will learn how to access help in the event of a life- threatening emergency and what to do until EMS arrives.

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care

TECC-First Responder with Duty To Act

A TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care)TECC-First Responder with A Duty to Act is a training program designed to equip non-medical first responders, like law enforcement officers, with the necessary skills to provide immediate life-saving medical care in high-risk, tactical situations like active shooter events, focusing on rapid hemorrhage control, basic airway management, and patient stabilization while prioritizing personal safety in a hostile environment; it typically includes practical skill stations with simulated scenarios to practice techniques under stress.
  • Who should attend:
Law enforcement officers, security personnel, first responders who may encounter high-risk situations where immediate medical intervention is required or any interested individual.
